Tears and gnashing of teeth have been avoided, the nice people at Air France shoe horned me onto the flight. The only downside is that I'm in seat 32E 1/2 which means that I have to carry a pet carrier containing someone's sedated Bichon Frise. OK, the flight is boarding, more later.
Not sure what you expected. You only bought your ticket a year in advance. How dare you expect Swiss air to actually have a seat for YOU.
